Are IBP Forecast Model user specific?

Hi experts

I looked for roles, catalogs and I can't find the answer as to why I can only see the Forecast Model that I created and not all others created in the system.

These are all available in the same planning area. The BestFit Test is identical to the BestFit, I replicated every setting. As you can see except for the two highlighted all the other are dimmed

Still the only ones that I'm able to select either in Simulation or the Operator are the ones created under my user ID

I would prefer that the Forecast Model could be shared

Thanks in advance for your time and your help

Roberto

FC models are not user specific. If it was an issue with the roles, you would not see them at all, and not dimmed.

Are you sure that the selected levels are compatible with the other model? E.g. they might be available for calendar-weekly buckets whereas you have loaded on monthly level. Or they are created on Productfamily-Location level and you want to run on product-location-customer level. Did you check that?

Hi Irmhild

One of them (Forecast Model) is because I copied every value. But, is worth double checking.

Thanks very much for your comment. Knowing that they are not user specific answers the main question. Now for me to compare and contrast in case I missed something and resolve any incompatibility

Thanks to you Irmhild I checked again and I have learned and this is what I found

The Forecast Model that I created (highlighted) has only Pre-processing steps. I didnt select a Forecast Model because I was learning by first Pre processing. The Key Figure used in my model are WKPRODLOCCUST. The other Forecast Models (dimmed) have been set up including the Forecasting Step, where the KF Planning Level is WKPRODCUST. Now I understand that the system cannot display a level that includes LOC (e.g. included in pre processing) if the KF used in the Forecast Step does not include that attribute.
