APO TO IBP

Hi Experts

We want to move from APO to IBP for DP ,SNP and GATP.

let me know what are steps and how to execute.

We have GATP where we Product Allocation we want to IBP but IBP doesnt contains GATP Process i think

do we need to move to S4 HANA Any new features

Hi Sunil -

For DP and SNP of APO - you need to take the licence of IBP Demand and Supply/Response. You should be good with IBP supply if you have implemented Heuristics/Opt in APO and business is good with it. If you are using CTM, you should go for IBP Response licence.

GATP is in S4 and is referred as AATP. I have heard people telling me that AATP is more user friendly and is very easy compared to GATP config you need to do for APO. I am sure you will find it more surprising with the ease in AATP.

Overall - it would be a good transition for you and I am pretty sure business users will be very happy to work with IBP can offer. Best of luck and my best wishes,
