(APO SPP + ECC) VS (APO SPP + S4 HANA)

Hi,

Has anyone come across a scenario where APO SPP is connected to S4 HANA? Is there any difference in integration if we connect APO SPP with ECC compare to APO SPP with S4 HANA? Please let me know if there can be any challenge when we try to connect APO SPP with S4 HANA. Note 2238445 says we can easily connect them but it doesn't say anything if there is a difference in mentioned two scenarios.
