APO Product Location update via BAPI_PRDSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI2 for BSTMI and BSTRF

Hello experts,

we want to update the Product Location Master data fields within APO using BAPI_PRDSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI2. It works for:

SAFTY (SafetyStock on /SAPAPO/MATLOC)

REORD (ReOrderPoint on /SAPAPO/MATLOC)

... but not for ...

BSTMI (MinOrderQty on /SAPAPO/MATLOTSZ)

BSTRF (RoundingValue on /SAPAPO/MATLOTSZ)

Does anybody know if this BAPI (or another one) is capable of updating the standard-fields BSTMI/BSTRF ?

Hello all,

I'm setting the thread to "answered" since we found the gap in using the BAPI by the development team. The finding is that of course this BAPI can also update the LotSize data of a location product in APO.

reason for using the BAPI is that we have a business process in place where such MRP planning parameters are provided from an outside inventory optimizer engine (and we have decoupled the CIF Inbound processing for such material master fields from ERP).

The field like BSTMI and BSTRF will be transferred (CIF) from S4 or ECC from MRP 1 view of material master.

It make no sense to update them directly APO as CIF job will overwrite it.

Why do you want to directly update these fields in APO not from ECC?
