APO PP/DS: HANA vs Live Cashe, Performance improvement

I am looking for any figures about performance improvement of PP/DS on HANA vs PP/DS on live cashe. (Scenario side-by-side)

I will glad to receive any documents, test results, cases and so on

Hi Boris,

the question you are asking is misleading. PP/DS will still use LiveCache (LC) even if your DB is HANA. They only technical difference will be that the LC as a such runs within HANA and not on MaxDB anymore. However LC will stay in place.

I can't share specific PP/DS runtime improvement details with you for various reasons but the following blog (especially the reference to SNP/CTM) might give you a glimpse about potential runtime improvements.

As always, realistic figures strongly depend on your particular setup in PP/DS and the implemented processes. From my experience I can tell you that there will be an average gain of 25-40%.
