APO - No confirmation by the requested date

Hi Experts,

I have a question about the Product View transaction (/SAPAPO/RRP3). In the below example, two reservations are considered in the calculation of the requirement elements

One of them is confirmed, and the other one is not confirmed and showing the message /SAPAPO/ATP_BOP092

The one which has not been confirmed has the requirement date 01.01.2038; any reservation before that date is confirmed and any reservation after it is not confirmed. My question is; based on what this date has been determined to be the threshold for not confirming the requirement even when no checking horizon has been maintained in the location-specific product master.

Is the 'Receipt Days' Supply' which has here the value of 5,964.07 a factor in the quantity confirmation? and if so, how it is calculated?

Hello,

An availability check is performed with a requested date maximal possible 31.12.2037

• For versions up SCM 701: the limitation is December 31, 2037.
• For versions SCM 702 and higher: the limitation is December 31, 2999.

But why are looking for confirmation so far out in future , I even dont think beyond my retritment 😉

Hello Brahmankar,

Thank you for the answer, the point is; not actually looking for a confirmation so far in the future, sometimes the exact date on which the product is needed; is not known. That's why the requirement date is entered for example 31.12.9999 and then the quantity will not be confirmed.

My question now, is there any documentation for this limitation?

• 1955063 - Manufacturing Order End Date set to year 2037 or 2999 in APO
• 2537748 - Field MASTER_ORDER_QUANTITY for BAPI_MOSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI3
