Hello IBP community members,
Reading documents shown as below, I am trying to understand the difference about how Time-series based heuristic and optimizer trie to satisfy customer demands more concretely. Now I came to understand the their characteristics. So as a next step, I would like to find concrete images of how both methods' calculation work respectively with concrete figure. Is there any helpful document which help me understand? Plus, it would be appreciated if there is a image that tells me the difference delivery-oriented optimizer and cost-oriented optimizer.
Thank you.
The best,

Hello Kenta,
There's no official documentation showing an image of comparison between the two algorithms, but I'd suggest you to review the new SAP Help Portal Getting Started with Time-Series-Based Supply Planning, especially the page "Key Figures for Demand Analysis".
Furthermore, you may want to attend the IBP trainings IBP200 (for infinite heuristic), as well as the IBP700 for optimizer, that will help you better understand the key figures' logic.
Best regards,
Matheus
