Hi,
We have two different planning areas in IBP and we would like to develop analytic charts combining data from the two planning areas. I understand the current analytics charts do not give this possibility and we have a messy solution of copying key figures across planning areas for reporting. I have a couple of questions.
1- Will it possible in the near future to combine data from different planning areas in analytics charts?
2- If not, Is it possible in SAC or any other SAP tool to combine data from the two different planning areas for reporting?

Zeeshan

Hi Zeeshan,
It is possible to extract data from multiple planning areas for reporting purposes in SAC. There is a global parameter FLEXQUERY > PLANNINGAREA where multiple planning areas can be maintained. It is also possible to extract data from multiple planning areas using KF read APIs and consume it any reporting solution.
As far as combining data from multiple planning areas, pls refer IBP roadmap or reach out to SAP product team.

Piyush
