Analysis for Office - Planning Query - Copy-paste characteristic value takes too long

Dear colleagues,

We have created an input ready query in BW 7.5 SP3, which contains a real-time characteristic with master data direct access by class CL_RSR_REMOTE_MASTERDATA (source system ECC).

When adding a new row in planning screen, if I click the question mark for displaying values in master data table, it goes pretty fast.

However, if I copy an existing value, from another row, and paste in the new one, it takes ages to do the validation (it means, retrieve its display attributes and allow to continue posting data) . And I mean, up to ten minutes.

Example of the case:

First run:

WBS Element | Currency

WBS1 EUR

I want to add a new row:

WBS1 CHF, so I copy WBS1 and paste in WBS column at the bottom, where planning query allows me.

Query locks for up to ten minutes before allowing fill in currency and costs.

I have debugged the above class and I cant find the reason of such consumption of time.

Any ideas?
