Alternative UoM is not kept from ERP inbound delivery

Hello EWM experts,

I'm working on embedded EWM on S/4 1809.

I have configured the unit of measures below:

EA (Base UoM)

50 EA = CAR (Alternative UoM - Stock specific UoM - Preferred UoM)

900 EA = PAL (Alternative UoM)

After I create the inbound delivery in S/4 in PAL, the EWM inbound delivery has the Alternative UoM as CAR.

However, from SAP help, it is said that the Alternative UoM PAL will be kept from ERP.

Have anyone encountered the issue above?

you may use Qty classification

- in SPRO --> Define Unit of Measurement attributes

- in /scwm/mat1 --> WHSE tab --> Maintain the Qty Classification

Thank you for your comments.

However, all of the settings for the SUoM have been maintained.

- Flag the UoM as SUoM

- Maintain the UoM as preferred UoM

- Flag the 'Apply AUoM as SUoM' in the EWM delivery item type

But still, the AUoM from ERP is still changed to CAR which is the SUoM in EWM.

...you can also try to set the flag 'Apply aUOM as sUOM' in EWM delivery item type.

Try checking in the Material Master in EWM; prefered UOM would have maintained.Change it to PAL if needed.

PAL usually are not SUOM. Check in spro: Define Unit of Measure Attributes
