Alternative storage location

Hi SAP support team,

We have a requirement where in case if stock is not available in one storage location then it should check another storage location and update in the sales order/Delivery

We request to Badi to fulfil the requirement. We know this requirement can be fulfill with a ATP with ABC confirmation but looking for alternative solution for development.

Are you sure these BAdI are going to change storage location in case of a stock shortage and retrigger ATP in the new storage location?
