Alternative HU Identification

Hello,

The goal we are trying to achieve is that in a field where you would include the HU number, you would be able to input instead another identification linked to that HU.

--> Basic example: if you link the HU number and PO number of a delivery contained in the HU, you would be able either input that HU number or that PO number to confirm a WT to move the HU.

To do that, I looked into "Alternative HU Identification" that you can set-up in the pack transaction under the tab Detail 2.

I managed in the monitor under "Stock & Bin -> Handling Unit" to input my alternative HU identification and I found back all the information linked to my HU.

However, this is the only place where I was able to use my alternative identification.

Is there anything in standard SAP that would allow us to use this Alternative HU Identification in other places? Is there any documentation somewhere explaining how to use these alternative HU identification in other transactions? (couldn't find anything)
