Alphanumeric or text values in key figure

Hi,

I have a requirement for maintaining Alphanumeric with special character values in the month prod cust level. Is it feasible in IBP? Are thre any work arounds?

Also how dynamic is planning notes and what is the number of key figure suggestions for configuring planning notes in IBP?

Hi,

Global parameter to be updated first to see the planning note in planning view.

The parameter below maintained with the value YES:

• Parameter Group = PLAN_VIEW
• Parameter Name = NEW_QUERY
• Parameter Value = YES

If this parameter is set to false, you can still create new planning notes and save them but they will not be stored in the system.

You can enable planning notes for up to 20 key figures in a planning area. The key figures must be stored key figures.

In the Configuration app, go to the Key Figures screen, and select the Enable Planning Notes checkbox.

Users of the IBP Excel add-in working with the data of the key figure for which you selected the checkbox can add planning notes to the cells in the planning view at any aggregation level, provided that disaggregation of the planning note won't result in more than 20 million attribute - period level combinations.

If you activate the planning notes checkbox then you will need to re-activate your planning area after selecting the Enable Planning Notes checkbox.
