In the PP/DS Alert Profile, under tree Requirement/Receipt Alerts, there are alert types Requirement with incomplete characteristics (fixed pegging) and Receipt with incomplete characteristics (fixed pegging), though these will only be raised when the I/O node without valuation is fix pegged to another
I'm not aware of other relevant alert types, but it may be helpful to create a Visualization Profile which includes the relevant characteristics, such that even without an alert you are able to see which receipts/requirements are valuated.
Other than that, when you execute a Product Heuristic (SAP_PP_002), it may raise a warning message if an order is found with incomplete characteristic valuation.
