After archive and delete the Purchase order document,

Need to archive and delete the Material document and invoice document?

Can leave without archive & delete the material document & invoice document?

Archiving and deleting Purchase Orders (POs) in SAP does not automatically archive or delete related Material Documents and Invoice Documents. These are separate entities and need to be handled individually.

If a PO is deleted, it means that the PO is flagged for deletion and it will not appear in your regular transaction records.  However, the associated Material Documents and Invoice Documents will not be deleted or archived automatically. They remain in the system until they are manually archived or deleted.

It’s important to note that archiving or deleting Material Documents and Invoice Documents should be done carefully, considering the potential impact on your data integrity and reporting. Before deciding to archive or delete these documents, you should consider whether these documents may still be needed for future reference, reporting, or auditing purposes
