Additional attributes in IBP product master - How to add them

Hello Folks,

When I look into 2020-01-20-15-22-50.jpg in the SAP-IBP, the product-level-attributes, certain attributes are not visible, like Product Hierarchy Level 1 to 10.

How can these additional attributes at the product-level-attributes be activated/ made-visible in SAP-IBP please?

Hi Bala,

For the Product Hierarchy attributes you can use the Product Family, Subfamily etc depending on your requirement and split the Hierarchy maintained in S/4 accordingly(In case you want to add any additional attribute you can create the same and add it to the product Master data).

For the Customer hierarchy you can use the customer master data to map the same relevant attributes from S/4.

Thanks for your comment.

Standard-IBP-Design provides place-holders for Product Hierarchies 1 to 10 at Product-Level in IBP.

The problem, its not activated in my system here -- I don't see these fields, How can I activate them (in S4-HANA Extractor or somewhere) so that they show up under Product Attributes here?

Please see below -- How can I make these fields PRDHA/PRDHA1 to 9 show up in IBP's-product-master?

Hi Bala,

Thanks for sharing the info you can create the additional attributes for Hierarchies IBP and assign them to the Product master data type and map these fields with the fields from S/4(PRDH1....PRDH9).
