Context: The goods are mostly stored in a nested Handling Unit (HU). First, they are packed in a carton and then placed on pallets for storage. A packaging specification has been created for this process.
Expected business scenario: Occasionally, goods may be delivered in cartons only and need to be stored directly on a pallet with sufficient capacity. If all pallets have reached their maximum capacity, the extra cartons should be stored in a different storage type to be able to follow them up more easily.
For the first part, where goods need to be stored directly on a pallet with sufficient capacity, the addition to stock setting in the Warehouse Process Type (WPT) has been configured. However, the problem is that extra cartons are now placed in the next available empty storage bin near the pallets. Does anyone know of a solution to achieve the desired behavior through customization?
