Access control for "Application job template" job in IBP

Hi All,

Can someone please help me how to restrict access to "Application job template" job which runs from excel ui? This is not a planning operator so not sure how to control this from not accessing to users.

Hi BK,

You can restrict it using Maintain Restriction option under General Restriction -> Administration Functions in Security (IAM).

Thanks for your quick response. There are so many jobs under Application job Template, So we want to restrict particular job only. So how can this be possible?

Hi BK,

Application job templates itself cannot be restricted however if you apply restriction to any particular operator which is present in the job template then that template will not appear in excel.

Hi Rohit,

I want application job template to be available in excel add-in but the requirement is to restrict a few jobs only to specific users. I can not see any option for restriction under business role->maintain restrictions. And also I see application job templates are shared jobs so is there any option we can share it to specific users only or any other way to restrict?
