Hi there,
Thank you for the description; details are truly missing from documentation.
So I am wondering where can you actually add the ABC indicator on warehouse product; because I didn't found any note on this.
Thank you for your answer,
Alexandra

Hi Alexandra,
ABC analysis is used to update Putaway control indicator, storage section indicator and cycle counting indicator based on number of tasks/ quantities moved for the product.
I dont think we have this indicator in product master field/ views.

Hello,
That is correct. But in release 1809 and upper, we also have this path in customizing under EWM -> SCM Basis -> Master Data -> Product -> Define ABC indicators. So I am expecting that after defining it in customizing, then I should also be able to manually assign it on my products.
However I just don't find any place and any other documentation on it.
Thank you!
Hi,
not sure what ABC indicator you are looking for or what you are expecting from it.
"But in release 1809 and upper, we also have this path in customizing under EWM -> SCM Basis -> Master Data -> Product -> Define ABC indicators."
I can not find this path in my 2020 system.
The only ABC indicator I know you define in EWM --> Internal Warehouse Processes --> Physical Inventory --> Warehouse-Number Specific Settings --> Configure Cycle Counting. And this indicator for what it says: Cycle Counting as physical inventory procedure. And that you assign in the warehouse product (the field is called Cycle Counting Indicator).

And it is EWM. NOT eWM - Duh!
And if your question includes the word "transfer order" - do NOT tag the question with Extended Warehouse Management!
