aATP ABC with quantity conversion

Dear reader,

We are using aATP alternative based confirmation and we are using the quantity conversion within the ABC logic

2 PC of material A can be replaced by 1 PC of material B vice versa.

This means that when a customer is ordering 2 PC of material A and there is only 1 PC in stock of this material, the ABC logic is telling that 1/2 PC of B should also be delivered. The Unit of Measure PC is not allowing decimals, however based on the ATP check, decimals are appearing within the sales order.

How can we prevent that the result of an ATP check is resulting in decimals for the UoM PC.

We are not using any alternative UoM in sales orders.

Regards,

Hans van Essen

Hello Hans,

you can avoid this by setting a delivery unit in the material master of material B. Then the system will only use multiples of this delivery unit.

Hope this helps.

Best regards,

Martin

We have done the necessary changes, but still we have a problem. [09:51] Kortman, Lauret Result before changing delivery unit 2x B = 1x A Result after changing delivery unit While there is enough stock on A and according to the substitution A should be picked, now there is always one B instead of round A when you would normally get an comma. Here you would expect 1 A instead of 0,5 A but you suddenly get B This one is still going correct Here the same issue, you would expect 81 A instead of 80,5 A but you get 80 A and 1 B
