In EWM, we have a process to create inbound delivery for serialized materials and then create the HU for those, however that step fails with error:

2001070576 is not in interval  that is provided for this pack.material type

Looked at SPRO but see nothing out of sorts. Not sure where to navigate to in config to rectify this situation.

check which packaging material is used: go to vl02n - packing screen - packaging materials
2. check which packaging material type is assigned to the packaging material: Go to MM03 - Sales:general/plant view - Packaging material data - Packaging mat. type
3. check which external number range interval is assigned to the packaging material type: go to transaction VHAR - select the packaging material type - details
4. check the number range interval: go to transaction SNRO - object: HU_VEKP - display - ranges - intervals
5. he HU number used must be between the lower and the upper limit of the interval defined in step 3

Thank you so much for this information. This issue was that our From range in SNRO was incorrect. Once we updated that, the HU error went away.

We have a note for this error however it was coming in other reason but it will help you

Check HU config  in ERP and EWM for packaging material type . Number range should be maintained correctly

Also check master data in ewm 

Check Packaging material type is assigned correctly in Product Master. In Material Master check sale general data and see assigned packaging material type.
