2 Storage Locations. After relocating material to other SL (EWM) - no goods shown in mmbe

Hi there,

I work with 2 Storage Locations. I am not even sure if I can do it the way I want it to be.

Here's my idea:

I want to work with 2 storage locations. These storage locations should not function according to the ROD-AFS principle. I would rather have 2 independent EWM-managed storage locations under one and the same warehouse number. Now I have set them up, also with different availability groups. Then I have a transfer posting from storage bin XYZ from storage location 1000 to storage bin YYX from storage location 1001.

The transfer posting has worked, so that I can see the goods in the right storage bin (in transaction /SCWM/MON), but I don't see the stock at storage location 2 in the MMBE (ERP). The reason for this is that it is hanging in SMQ2. With the following error:

Error: SR053 , Material N12369-00 1000 1001 does not exist

The material does exist in /SCWM/MAT1 but I am not sure why I get this error.

What can I do? What is missing from the system?

Hi,

You need to create/extend the material master in MM01 for the new location.
