Hi
I have a question regarding location master data.
In my company, our Locations are maintained as per weight, which means I can GR more than 1 product to the same location till the max weight won't be higher than the weight set up in LS02N.
How to change the location settings (and where) to only accept 1 Product (not more) even if the product weight is less than the max weight set up?

Hi Semih,
Thanks for the information! Could you please share with me the transaction you are using for that? And also would you be able to show the multiple-choice in the Mixed Storage & in HUs so I can see what other options are there? I don't have access probably to the transaction you are using so I will need to contact one of my IT guys who will deal with it.
Hi Robert,
IMG path SCM Extended Warehouse Management --> Extended Warehouse Management --> Master Data --> Define Storage Types

Hi,
to answer your question properly, it is necessary to see how your storage type is set up. The setting for mixed storage as described by Semih is already pointing in the right direction. But very few putaway rules do a mixed storage at all by themselves, that that would be the first thing to check.

And it is EWM. NOT eWM - Duh!
And if your question includes the word "transfer order" - do NOT tag the question with Extended Warehouse Management!

You can go with fixed BIN assignment. so part will always stored on same BIN. You could also refer below blog. https://blogs.sap.com/2018/06/27/fixed-bin-concept-in-sap-wm-vs-ewm/You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Hi Ritesh,
thanks will have a look. One more question, I don't want to have X material assigned to the same bin as we have a lot of different materials coming in. I don't think a fixed bin will be the best solution because I don't want 1 product in the same location.
For example :
Location A01B01 - Max weight 1000KG with product X - Cant putaway product Y because X is already there even if the weight is less than 1000KG, when product X is gone I can put any product to A01B01 & make this location unable to accept another product in.
