A few weeks ago, in an effort to stay (or get) fit, and to preserve my sanity, I challenged myself to a “
Couch 2 5k” training routine. I can honestly say, I had perfected the “couch” piece over the 1
st 2 weeks of the “stay at home” mandate!
As I went out this morning to start my daily exercise routine and the daily game of human Pac-Man that is running /walking through my neighborhood I put on my playlist. As ever, I started with “born to run”. That lasted for about 15 minutes. Not the songs just my capacity to run I mean, as I pounded the “long and winding road” that felt like I was on a “road to nowhere”.
As I turned on to “
Baker Street”, too keep my mind active I started to compile a playlist of running/walking related songs and thoughts:
I don’t think I was “Born to run”, but who would think that “I would walk
500 miles” in a month!
