The Hannover Fair 2019 was a great success for SAP Intelligent Asset Management. We showcased an integrated process across the whole Digital Supply Chain that was very well received by our customers. Our EVOMIXX Mixer was a great exhibit with a real “industrial” look and feel.
With our partners Hilscher, E+H, Evoguard, IFM, Krones and Beckhoff we presented an end-to-end process within our SAP Intelligent Asset Management portfolio. Working together with the start-ups Daqri (augmented reality glasses and software) and Quadrica (3D scanning of plants) we presented the complete picture ofembedding new technologies such as blockchain, augmented reality and chatbot into our solutions.
The visitors to our booth, including German chancellor Angela Merkel, showed a great interest in our solutions, which are already very well known in the market.
The press conference for the Open Industry 4.0 Alliance was very successful and we received a lot of questions regarding this initiative. Hala Zeine stated here that the combined customers of the alliance will benefit by having relevant data across their assets, as well as compatible solutions for greater equipment efficiency to help them achieve their digitalization goals faster. Open Industry 4.0 Alliance is based on asset central foundation as the global asset repository across the alliance and each OI4 member will get an SAP Asset Intelligence Network account.
