Data Inconsistencies can occur in different forms in a system that can block the business processing. In this post I’d like to focus on one particular type of inconsistency occurring in EWM – incorrect Warehouse Order status, which can affect Warehouse Order processing .
It might happen that the Warehouse Order status does not match with the statuses of the Warehouse tasks or Physical Inventory documents.
- You might have Warehouse Order in status "in process" but all the related Warehouse Tasks are confirmed/cancelled.
- You might have Warehouse Order in status "in process" but the related Physical Inventory document is already posted.
These kind of issues might negatively effect other Warehouse Order creation, archiving or statistical data.
Important: This Check Monitor feature is not available in EWM version 7.02 and below.
