
This blog will give you an overview of our recent release in SAP Business Network for Logistics. It is intended for shippers and solution owners, carriers, and data providers as well as sales and presales colleagues who already have a detailed understanding of SAP Business Network for Logistics.

Cross SAP Business Network for Logistics
Access multiple tenants with one user account
This feature has been a request from many of you. Carriers and data contributors can now use one user account (email address) to sign in to multiple tenants on the network. When signing in with a user account that is related to multiple tenants, you can switch between them from the ‘Switch Accounts’ icon in the upper-right corner.
Reminder: Sunset of SAP BTP, Neo environment and switch to SAP BTP, Multi-Cloud environment
SAP BTP, Neo environment will be deprecated on December 31st, 2025. The official support for the current integration platform running on Neo environment will be stopped on May 16th, 2025.
When you log into the 'Manage Message Log', you will now get a warning message. The link will direct you the migration guides, which are also linked below.
Please switch to the new integration platform on SAP BTP, Multi-Cloud environment!

SAP Business Network Freight Collaboration
Dock Appointment Scheduling: reference documents now displayed as a number
The following changes were made in the carrier’s ‘Self-Book Dock Appointments’ app:
Similar changes were made in the shipper’s ‘Manage Dock Appointments’ app:
Settlement: view additional information for each charge
In the ‘Manage Disputes’ app, in the ‘Details’ page, under the tab ‘Charges’, shippers and carriers can now view additional information for each charge.
Note: This feature will only come into effect for documents that were created AFTER the feature was released.
SAP Business Network Global Track and Trace
Standard extractor codes delivered on SAP S/4HANA (now supporting TM freight documents freight order, freight booking and freight unit)
The extractor codes, provided by SAP Business Network Global Track and Trace, are now delivered as part of standard codes in SAP S/4HANA (from 2023, FPS03). They are ready to use and allow you to extract basic information in a logistical business document from SAP S/4HANA and send them to the GTT system for tracking.
Currently, the following TM freight documents are supported for extraction:
You can use the Track Shipments app to monitor their fulfillment.
Please note this doesn't affect your current implementation using sample extractor codes.

‘Manage Message Logs’: display and download payload from the worklist
Upon request in customer influence portal, on the worklist page of the ‘Manage Message Logs’ application, a payload column has been added to view and download the message payload.
Provider API for Order Events (GTT): supporting time zone conversion for local time without UTC offset
Also upon customer request, carriers and data providers can now provide local time without UTC offsets in the 'Provider API for Order Event (GTT)'. In this case, you must provide corresponding event time zones as defined in IANA time zone database, the value will be automatically converted to UTC time in the system.
Location data added to email rule placeholders
When defining an email rule in the ‘Manage Models’ app, you can specify to populate the user-defined placeholder using the ‘location alternative key’. You can choose to show the information either as:

IATA and UN/LOCODE added to core model, so it can now be saved when reporting an event
The following fields were added to the core model:
When you provide this information when reporting events, it can now be saved with the event. In case the location isn’t maintained in the master data, you can still know where the next event is estimated to take place.
Public track shipments page: hide location details for certain location types
On the public track shipments page, we have reduced the location information that is shown for ‘vendors’, ‘suppliers’, ‘business partners’ and ‘customers’ to street name, city and country.
Track Shipments app: new role for data export
As of June 21, 2025, the following role template "AppStandardTrackShipmentsExportTemplate" is required to export data from the worklist. You must add it to your role collection. Otherwise, on, you won't see the export icon on the ‘Shipments Worklist’.
All fulfillment tracking apps: tiles that relate to dynamic time ranges will not display counts
If you specify a dynamic date or date range for search, such as “Last Week”, and save the result as a tile, the count won't be displayed on the tile to avoid inaccuracies.

All Fulfillment Tracking apps: location address displayed on the header of detail pages
On the header of ‘Detail’ pages, you can now see the addresses under their location descriptions.
Create Shipment Advice app: app has been sunset
As announced on September 21, 2024, the ‘Create Shipment Advice’ app has been sunset. It is no longer available on SAP Fiori Launchpad.

Manage Analytic Models: delete activated customized models
You can now delete an activated customized model yourself if you no longer need it. As a result, this model will disappear from the model list on the list page. In the ‘Manage Analytic Models’ app, it will no longer be available within Customized Models node either.
Please note that the stories that consume the model might not work properly.
