Welcome to the Continuous Influence Session for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, Environment, Health, and Safety Management!

Dear SAP Customers/Partners,

We’ve now launched the customer influence site for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, Environment, Health, and Safety Management and we would like to extend a warm welcome to all of you.

We’ll use this community platform to collect your ideas to improve the product experience of our SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, Environment, Health, and Safety Management.

We encourage you to submit your ideas and vote for the proposals of others if you find them useful yourself. We’ll review the submitted ideas that reach 5+ votes.

Please note: This customer influence site excludes topics related to SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition and SAP S/4HANA, our on-premise offering. Further this is not the right channel for go-live critical requests or requests from customers.

You are invited to submit and vote on improvement requests related to:

Incident Management

  • Track all types of incidents, drive a consistent process for incident entry 

  • Manage investigations, and corrective actions. 

  • Regulatory Reporting for incidents 

Environment Management

  • Air Emissions Management - Manage a transparent end-to-end process for ensuring compliance with all regulations governing the emissions of all types of air pollutants.

  • GHG Emissions Management – Manage an end-to-end auditable process for calculating actual greenhouse gas emissions from initial data collection to reporting

  • Waste Management - Track waste generation across the enterprise with cradle-to-grave control of waste along with identification of waste minimization opportunities.

  • Water/Wastewater Management - Monitor and report quantity/quality of drinking water and wastewater ensuring compliance with government standards and corporate policies while identifying opportunities for reuse/reduction

  • Regulatory and Permit Compliance - Manage a central legal/permit/policy requirement registry and consistent process to support the full lifecycle of compliance driven tasks and exceptions.

Health and Safety Management

  • End-to-end process for identifying and dealing with all manner of hazards and risks in the workplace.

  • Managing comprehensive environment, health, and safety risk assessments (including JHA)

  • Managing workplace sampling and exposure assessment

Management of Change

  • System to execute and monitor change effectively within an organization so it does not lead to unknown or uncontrolled operational risk.


Not in scope are improvement requests for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition and SAP S/4HANA, our on-premise offering. Please find alternatives in the referenced blog post.

How it works
The Customer Influence site enables you as customer and partner to directly influence the product by submitting improvement requests.

  • You can explore existing improvement requests and vote on them.
  • You can submit your own improvement requests; other customers and partners can vote on them.
  • You can comment and collaborate with other customers and partners and SAP.
  • SAP regularly evaluates the requests meeting the voting threshold for implementation and delivery. Please note on the voting threshold:
  • The voting threshold serves as an indicator for a business need helping SAP to prioritize requests.
  • A met voting threshold does not guarantee a delivery.
  • Open requests not meeting the voting threshold for a longer period of time will be closed.
  • SAP sets a status on each improvement. Each status change automatically notifies the respective parties on the request progress.
