Downloading the SAP IBP Excel Add-On
(and other on premise components)
from the SAP Software Download Center

While SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) is a cloud solution, there are a few on premise components that customers will likely use with their IBP solution.  This blog describes how customers can download these on premise components from the SAP Software Download Center.

The on premise components related to SAP IBP are:

In order to download the on premise components, follow the general instructions below which demonstrate downloading the SAP IBP Excel Add-On.

NOTE: Downloading on premise components requires an active subscription / maintenance agreement.

 

Go to the SAP Software Download Center (link below) and Log On with your S-user*.

Please note that you must log in with an S-user that is assigned to the SAP customer number that has the appropriate subscription or license as specified in the table above.  Some companies have multiple customer numbers (e.g. for multiple divisions or regions), but only S-users assigned to the customer number that has the appropriate subscription/license can download the corresponding on premise component.

In addition, only S-users with the SWDOWNLOAD authorization assigned may download software from the SAP Software Download Center.

If your S-user does not have the SWDOWNLOAD authorization, please contact your company’s Super Administrators (for more information and to get a list of your company’s Super Administrators, go to https://support.sap.com/en/my-support/users.html).

Click on Access Downloads (direct link https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/softwarecenter).

This will launch the Software Downloads app in the SAP ONE Support Launchpad.

Use the Search function to find the appropriate download (e.g., ibp excel - refer to the Search tip in the table above).

Select the latest version (e.g., SAP IBP EXCEL ADD-ON 2108).

Click on the link for the latest version (e.g., IBPEXCELADDON02_0-70006581.ZIP) and save the .ZIP file to your local computer or shared drive.  Or, select the latest version and click Download Basket.

NOTE: Make sure your browser allows pop-up's.

NOTE: For some downloads, you may need to select the Operating System (e.g., Windows or Linux).
