Scrapping:

Scrapping in SAP EWM refers to the process of removing damaged or obsolete inventory from the warehouse. This action updates stock levels and ensures that unusable goods are not part of future transactions. SAP EWM allows scrapping to be done efficiently by associating it with movement types and reasons.

Post Unplanned Goods Issue:

Posting an unplanned goods issue in SAP EWM occurs when goods are issued from inventory without a prior order or plan. This process helps adjust stock levels and manage unforeseen circumstances like damage or errors. SAP allows tracking of unplanned goods issues to ensure accurate inventory management and reporting.

Warehouse Number:

The warehouse number uniquely identifies a specific warehouse within the system. It is used to manage inventory, define storage locations, and configure operational processes. SAP EWM leverages the warehouse number to support various warehouse-specific functions and ensure efficient warehouse management.

Storage Type:

Storage type is the classification of physical storage areas within a warehouse, such as shelves, bins, or pallets. It helps organize goods based on their characteristics and requirements, like temperature or size. SAP EWM uses storage types to define the layout of the warehouse and optimize space utilization.

Storage Bin:

A storage bin is a specific location within a warehouse used to store goods. It is part of the warehouse structure and is defined by its unique identifier, ensuring accurate tracking of materials. SAP EWM assigns goods to storage bins for efficient stock management and retrieval.

Movement Reason:

Movement reasons are used to specify the cause or purpose of a goods movement, such as transferring, scrapping, or replenishing inventory. It helps track the context behind inventory transactions, ensuring transparency in warehouse operations. SAP EWM provides predefined movement reasons for various processes to support reporting and analysis.

Nice document. I have a question here. While posting the GI in EWM, 551 movement type is passing to the ECC. Instead I would like to pass 903 movement type. Can you please let me know how we can achieve this?
