SAP-EWM- WAREHOUSE ORDER CREATION RULE
Introduction : Warehouse Requirement:
There are 3 resource types are responsible to pick the material from a same storage type but, picking condition is Storage bin level based,
Human Resource (picker) – 1st level picking,
Forklift- level 2 to level-5 picking,
High reach truck- level 6-10.
How system will assign 1st level picks to only Human Resources? level 2 to level 5 picking tasks should be assigned to Forklifts and level 6 to 10 should be High reach trucks.
How can We achieve the above requirement?
Ans: We can achieve the above requirement by one of the options called Warehouse Order Creation rule (WOCR)
Design: 1) we create three different Activity areas for 3 sections of levels.
2) Define and determine the Queue according to the Activity areas.
3) Assign these Queues to resource groups.
3) Removal strategies to pick
4) WOCR rule determination for three different activity areas.
Configuration Steps:
1.1. Define Storage Type
1.3. Define Storage Bin Structure
1.4. Assign Storage Bins to Activity Areas
1.5. Define Sort Sequence for Activity Area
Easy Access
1.6. Do Bin Sorting--/N/SCWM/SBST
2.1. Define Resource Types
2.2. Define Queue Types
2.3. Define Queues
2.4. Define Queue Determination Criteria.
Easy Access:
2.5. Maintain Resource Group -/SCWM/RGRP
2.6. Maintain Queue Sequence for Resource Group - /SCWM/QSEQ
2.7. Maintain Resource - /SCWM/RSRC
2.8. Maintain Users - /SCWM/USER
3.1. Define Warehouse Process Type
3.2. Specify Stock Removal Rule
3.3. Specify Storage Type Search Sequence
3.4. Define Stock Removal Control Indicator
3.5. Determine Storage Type Search Sequence for Stock Removal
4.1. Define Number Ranges for Warehouse Order
4.2. Assign Warehouse Number to Number Range Interval.
4.3. Define Sort Rules for Warehouse Tasks
4.4. Define Limit Values for the Size of a Warehouse Order
4.5. Define Creation Rule for Warehouse Orders
4.6. Define Search Sequence of Creation Rules for Activity Areas

Here we are assigning three Activity Areas, based on different types of levels.
Activity Area Level
AA44 1 Level
AA45 2-5 Levels
AA46 6-10 Levels
1.3. Define Storage Bin Structure

We have assigned 01 level to AA44, 02-05 levels to AA45 & 06-10 levels to AA46.

TESTING:
Go to Monitor - /N/SCWM/MON
Check the Available Stock of that Particular Product in the Bin to pick.
7075 is in 3rd level bin.
7076 is in the 7th level bin.
7074 is in the 1st level bin.
Go to Outbound Delivery Orderà Follow-on Functionsà Warehouse task
Create Picking Task for three Products One by one- Click on Create+Save.
First Create and Confirming the Task for 7074 product.
For 7074 product system created a task assigned the Queue OT01 with WOCR- AA44.
Create the Warehouse Task for 7075 Product.
For 7075 product system created a task assigned the Queue OT02 with WOCR- AA45.
Create the Warehouse Task for 7076 Product.
For 7076 product system created a task assigned the Queue OT03 with WOCR- AA45.
There are three Warehouse Orders which is in “Open” Status.
Enter the Packaging Material and click on F2 Handling and select F4 Next.
Scan the given information and Press Enter.
Conclusion: Three different resource type can be access to three different queues by three different WOCR ( condition based Activity areas -levels ).
