1.Introduction:

In this article, I will describe how SAP ECC, EWM and ATTP Integration works for process order goods receipt in EWM with ATTP Integration

The system landscape or Integration systems used in my article is SAP’S components such as SAP EWM, SAP ATTP, SAP ECC.

SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) is used to efficiently manage inventory in the Warehouse and for supporting, processing of goods movement. It allows the companies to control their Warehouse inbound and outbound processes and movement of goods in the Warehouse.

SAP Advanced Track and Trace Pharmaceuticals (ATTP) is used as Serialization Repository and management solution for regulatory reporting, supporting compliance with country legislation to fight falsified medicines. This is Next generation Pharmaceutical’s solution offered by SAP for Pharmaceuticals serial number management.

Pharmaceutical packaging lines is used to pack the finished products, produced on production lines. The packaging lines are integrated with SAP ATTP via web service connection and communicate to SAP ATTP for commission and pack (aggregation) of serial numbers for product and batch quantities as per process order.

3) Pre-requisite for Process order Goods receipt process:

ECC system:

  • Basic System configuration for ECC- EWM integration, ECC- ATTP integration and EWM- ATTP integration completed

  • Plant and storage location, material, business partners (Customer, Vendors) have been integrated from ECC to ATTP

  • Plant and storage location, material, business partners (Customer, Vendors), Batch, class and characteristics have been integrated from ECC to EWM

  • Logical system and business system, RFC connection set up for integration between ECC, EWM and ATTP

EWM system:

  • Basic system configuration successfully completed

  • Master data Integration (Business Partner and Material Master, Batch, Class, and characteristics) integration from ECC to EWM successfully completed.

  • Logical system and business system, RFC connection set up for integration between EWM and ECC and EWM and ATTP set up correctly

ATTP system:

  • Basic system configuration successfully completed

  • Master data Integration (Business Partner and Material Master) integration from ECC to ATTP successfully completed

  • Logical system and business system, RFC connection set up for integration between ATTP and ECC and ATTP and EWM set up correctly

Packaging lines:

  • Web service connection between packaging lines and ATTP set up correctly

  • Packaging Lines commission and pack(aggregate) serial numbers for Pallet:

Based on the Manufacturing order (Process order) received from SAP S4 system, once finished products gets manufactured at production line/packaging lines, pack this product (EA<CASE< Pallet) hierarchy and sent pallet information to ATTP.

  • Receipt of Pallet handling unit in EWM with RF:
