Below I show you how to set up a direct outbound delivery for goods issue without picking. My understanding is that this can only be done at the product level. To incorporate handling units, we will need to pick the handling units. To make this change, we in Step 2, we would change the item type to ODPI instead. We would then reflect this change in our default values when testing in /SCWM/SGI.
Step 1:
We need to allow item type OPPG in document type OPIG. If you do not do this step, in step 2, you will get an error saying, "Item type OPPG not allowed for pickup with document type OPIG".
Will ask you to choose FDO or PDO. FDO = Outbound Delivery PDO = Outbound Delivery Order. I chose FDO.
Step 2:
/SCWM/GMBIN_DET
Assign your document type, item type, warehouse number to your storage bin for goods movement posting. This is where your material will be goods issued out of.
Step 3:
Define warehouse process type
Copied from y214
Step 4:
Determine warehouse process type
To test:
/SCWM/SGI
Select default values. Document Type: OPIG and Item Type: OPPG. By entering these values, the warehouse process type determination that you did in step 4 will pick up your warehouse process type. This document/item type will also pick up your goods movement bin determined in step 1.
Click create with default values that you just maintained in the previous step.
Enter ship to party
Enter product / quantity
See GM Bin and process type determined automatically. You can also see the picking status is 'Not Relevant' this is driven by the item type of OPPG.
Highlight line item and click create delivery. See Document number auto generated.
Post goods issue
