Define movement type 261 for EWM Consumption

Hi all,

ı want to explain how to define movement type 261 in Embedded EWM system. If you use SAP PM module, you will use this movement type for techinal material consumptions.

Also it contain defining other consumption movement types. When you flow this steps with other movement types, you will define them.

 

First you enter transaction "OVLK" and define outbound delivery type.



 

When click "DOG" or select new entery, Details screen will opened and fill the blanks.



Go to "SPRO" - LE - Deliveries-Define Item Categories for Deliveries



We will define "DZL"



When click "DZL" or select new entery, Details screen will opened and fill the blanks.



Go to "SPRO" - LE - Shipping - Deliveries - Define Item Category Determination in Deliveries



Define "DZL" under Delivery type "DOG"



ou enter transaction "VTLA" and define determine "DZL" and then select "DOG" line and double click item.



Define item catergory "DZL" and item data "303"



Go to "SPRO" - EWM - Interfaces - ERP Integration - Delivery Processing - Map Document type from ERP System to EWM



Define matching ERP document type "DOG" with EWM Document Type "OUTB"



Go to "SPRO" - EWM - Interfaces - ERP Integration - Delivery Processing - Map Item type from ERP System to EWM



 

Define matching ERP Item type "DZL" with EWM Item Type "ODLV"



 

When you post (261 type) material by transaction MIGO then system will automaticlly post movement with outbound delivery. Also it will be automaticlly distrubuted.

At the begining of this blog I said If you flow this steps, you will also define other movement types like 201 or 561.
If you don' t know delivery type for movement types, you will try post material from transaciton MIGO then take error for delivery type and you will start customizing. This is the simple way to learn delivery type.
