Let's dive in.
Creating an FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) assessment from scratch can be time-consuming, but there's a smarter way to reuse existing strategy assessments to quickly build your failure data hierarchy.
You can quick start an FMEA assessment by copying failure data and recommendations from a Strategy Assessment for Class, filtered based on the class and failure data profile of the technical object.
Technical objects must share the same Class, Planning Plant, and Failure Data Profile
At least one released Strategy Assessment for Class exists for the selected class.
There are no duplicate failure modes between the source and FMEA assessment (to prevent copy failure).

Being able to track or maintain recommendation origins enhances transparency and decision-making. Whether recommendations stem from legal/regulatory requirements, hazard operations, preventive maintenance reviews, quality standards or another source, specifying origins ensures better traceability and you can maintain multiple origins for each recommendation.
Origins are maintained in SAP S/4HANA. Once the recommendation is created, the object page opens in edit mode, where you can modify origins as long as the recommendation status is "In Process", "Created", or "Implementation in Process".
You can comfortably find recommendations from a specific source, such as quality standards using the filter and also add the Origin column to the list view where you can see all origins of all recommendations in one view.

Improve accuracy and reliability of rule execution by triggering rules based on the completion of other rules. This new feature eliminates timing issues and simplifies managing complex rule dependencies. We have introduced the following:
In addition to schedule-based execution, triggering rules through a chain ensures reliable indicator values and avoids race conditions, making rule management efficient and dependable.
With this enhancement, you gain better control and consistency in sequential processes. Watch the video:

We've introduced a new navigation feature that allows you to seamlessly access equipment details directly from alerts. The Technical Object in both the Alert List and Alert Details Page is now clickable, enabling direct navigation to the Explore Technical Objects app.
This update simplifies your workflow, making it easier than ever to analyze alerts and access the details you need.
The Manage Alerts and Manage Alerts Types API are available now for public consumption on the SAP Business Acceleration Hub.
