Let us look at the features we are introducing in 2503 release. For more information about SAP Dynamic Forms and software release notes, please refer to:

Access Form Data from SAP Service and Asset Manager (MDK customization)

To customize SAP Service and Asset Manager, you can retrieve Form data and use it within the mobile application.

Filter Dropdown Controls with a Formula

You can add a formula that is used on the fly, to include or exclude each of the drop down values. A use case for this function is to dynamically hide or show values based on the current value of another control. For more information, see Filtering items.

Bug Fixes

  • Form Export dialog should not display date filtering for Form Definitions.
  • Form Runner Save button is missing text for some languages.
  • Form Instances incorrectly open in English when mobile device language is set to another language.
  • Forms shall display an error icon instead of a blank Form if Form loading fails.
  • Log viewer shall also support displaying messages in descending order.

Hello, thank you for sharing! I’d like to know if it’s possible to scan a QR code and automatically populate the corresponding information into the input fields of a dynamic form. Thanks in advance!

@momo666
QR code scanning into a Form Instance is not currently a feature of SAP Dynamic Forms, however requests like this are welcome on the customer influence portal here:

SAP Mobile Service and Asset Management
https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#/campaign/2665
(please use the category "SAP Dynamic Forms")

How do you see the contents of a QR code being mapped into one or more fields of the Form Instance?

Thank you - Jim
