We have just released SAP Warehouse Operator Version 2.5 to the Apple App Store. Let’s have a look together at the new key capabilities:
Ad hoc movements are unplanned goods movements that you create manually within a warehouse. The decision to make an ad hoc movement is not controlled by the system but by the warehouse operator. There can be several reasons for it, like wrong products located in a storage bin, damaged products or unplanned rearrangements of goods. It’s a great use case to be supported on mobile devices. We have now added ad hoc product warehouse task creation to the existing functionality to create warehouse tasks for the movement of Handling Units.
You may now also use the app to pick items without a Pick Handling Unit. Simply create warehouse tasks for picking in the backend without assigning a Pick Handling Unit. These warehouse tasks will then also show up in the SAP Warehouse Operator app on your iPhone and can be started as well.
Please download the new version of the app and try it out yourself.
