How to get Best Practice Content for SAP Transportation Management

Dear SAP TM community,

if you wanted to set up some best practice content for SAP TM, in the past SAP had provided 2970208 - SAP Best Practices for S/4HANA Supply Chain for Transportation Management 1909. This KBA contained references to Best Practices content for Inbound and Outbound Transportation as well as Stock Transport Orders and a combination of Outbound and Inbound.

However, as of November 2024 the above mentioned SAP-Note and the related content are redundant and not available to customers any longer. Hence, also this blog article which many found helpful and well explained is unfortunately not applicable anymore.

So how can you as a customer set up best practice content now?

The answer is that you can now use the SAP Process Navigator within the SAP for ME portal!  

There click on Solution Scenarios as highlighted in the screenshot:

Next choose Enterprise Resource Planning and SAP Best Practices for SAPS/4 HANA Cloud Private Edition (that is if you are looking for on-prem respectively private cloud edition best practices of course. If you are on a public cloud scenario, choose that of course, please 😉😞

On the next screen under line of business choose Supply Chain and Delivery and Transportation:

Here you can then see all relevant best practice scenarios for TM. When you click on them you will find information such as diagrams, test scripts, descriptions etc.

By following this guide on SAP Help all relevant content should be available in your system.
