How to add additionally produced product in a single HU via RFUI

The inspiration of writing this blog is derived from what's app group where a question was asked 'How to receive more products in a single HU in RF during receiving HU by manufacturing order''. The requirement is genuine and simple, the business dont want to put the additionally produced quantity of a product in a separate handling units if that additionally produced product can be put in previous created handling unit.

Handling unit is an asset and carries some cost, even if you able to save some cost by consolidating multiple batches of produced product in a single HU, business can gain tremendously.

 

 

The above diagram exemplifies the product 999899-1 when produced into different lots can be catapulted into a single HU through RFUI.

 

A manufacturing order is the source of starting a production.

 

An inbound delivery in EWM where first HU was created.

 

HU contains  960 PCs.

During production, it was realized more PCs have been produced ans same needs to be incorporated in HU 8001000188

Through RFUI, quantity can be altered.

 

The HU now has the required altered quantity.

 

Now, you can GR and putaway the HU to final bin.

 

PS: All testing is conducted in S/4 HANA 1709 Embedded EWM
