Storage Bin:

In SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), a storage bin is a specific location within a warehouse where inventory items are stored. These bins are used to manage and organize goods efficiently within the warehouse.

Source Bin:

Source bin refers to the storage location from which goods are being moved or picked. It is essentially the origin point in warehouse operations where inventory is currently stored before it is either transferred to another location or used for order fulfillment.

Destination Bin:

A destination bin refers to the storage location within the warehouse where goods are to be moved or placed. It is the end point in warehouse operations for the placement or transfer of inventory.

Stock Type:

Stock type refers to the classification of inventory based on its status or condition within the warehouse. Stock types help manage and differentiate various categories of stock to streamline warehouse operations, ensure accurate inventory management, and comply with business and regulatory requirements.

Handling Unit:

HU represents a physical or logical unit used to manage and track goods during warehouse operations. It is a critical concept for organizing, handling, and shipping inventory efficiently. Handling units are used to group individual items together into a single unit for easier management throughout the warehouse processes.

Warehouse Task:

Warehouse Task is a fundamental element of warehouse operations that represents a specific action or set of actions to be performed within the warehouse. Warehouse tasks are used to manage and direct various warehouse activities, such as picking, putaway, and inventory handling.

Warehouse Process Type:

It is a configuration element that defines and controls the various processes and activities that occur within the warehouse. Warehouse process types are used to determine how different types of warehouse operations are handled, including the rules and procedures for specific processes.
