Works order relationship to Purchase orders

Good Afternoon,

I am trying to identify what happens with a vendor PO that has already been placed when an associated works order is moved into the future. I already understand that MD04 will request a pushout and when we send a summary of the outstanding vendor POs to the vendor it will then give them a new updated delivery data based on the pushout. Are there any settings in MM03 that drive this action? are there any settings where we could say if the pushout of the WO is within this timeframe, don't push out the vendor PO?
