Dear Team,
Upon our upgrade from SRM 5 to 7 EHP 2, We are able facing a concern in the workflow email content where the email is being sent in German language for all the users correspondence language is unknown in the business partner record
Upon further checking the specific workflow task, we are able to see that the translation is being maintained properly for all the languages and we are able to see that the email content language is being picked up from the business partner correspondence language.
Hence we are wondering how the same has been achieved in SRM 5 where the email content has been sent in English language when the user's business partner correspondence language is unknown.
Could you please help me in providing a pointer where these conditions can be defined which will help us in our resolution. Thanks in advance for your help.

Please check the default language of the user WF-BATCH in SU01. Is it set to German?
Also, is it happening for workflows triggered by a specific user or all users? It would be good to check the default language of those users as well.
Which workflow email are we referring to? Extended notifications? or is there a send email task in your workflow?
