Why new password message to registered user getting faild.

Hi All,

Can some one please tell me imideately like

why new SAP sourcign new password getting failed  even if mail id is corrent .

In processed status mail is showing fail.

I have attached screen shot also whichis currently precent in QUeued messages.

Hi Peeysh,

We are facing the same situation where messages gets stuck in Queued messages .

Can you please help, what was the reason for it.

Any leads would be of great help!!!

Hi Geetika,

If message is getting stuck in Queued group then It is problem with the domain of that mail like gmail.com,sbc.com etc.

To fix  this issue Please add all those domain which you want in SMTP mailing server.

This should be done by basis team.

Hi Peeyush,

Thanks for your input.

Issue has now been resolved. There was a problem with System Properties , we maintained some additional system properties as connection was getting refused with smtp server.

Hello Peeyush,

The SCN is a community-driven network, with consultants outside SAP sharing their expertise. Phrasing your questions in imperative tense using words like 'immediately' will most likely never get you any replies at all.

Now, coming back to your question, this situation usually appears when special characters are present in the email field (leading/trailing whitespace, other hidden special characters). The log files will have a clear answer if the email address itself is the issue, so please check there.
