I have a schedule line set for an item for a bid invitation/RFx and can see it through BBP_PD transaction. But I can't seem to locate it on the UI (buyer's view), for either SRM 5 or SRM 7 release.

I now remember it is one of those "invisible/ghost" sets. In SRM 7, public sector has enhancement to display schedule line for RFQ.
