learnt that no more EXPRESS CONFIRMATION and EXPRESS INVOICE but new concept came EXPRESS BIDDING.

Q1 What is this EXPRESS Bidding in SRM 700 ?

please elobarate more?

Q2 what are the improvements made in Bidding engine arena in SRM 700 ?

Q3 :- What are the practical difficulty we have in SRM 700

a. Shoping cart TO Bid Invitatation or

b .Direct Create Bid Invitation by the Buyers?

Which one is prefered since i am defining the business process.

I do aware lot of technical differences issues / impactcts i had sc to goa or direct process GOA.

Q1 What is this EXPRESS Bidding in SRM 700 ?

I have never heard of the term Express Bidding. But "Offline Bidding" that comes in SRM 701.

For some of your other questions regarding improvements in SRM7, the release note is a good reference.

Offline bidding is via SAP Interactive Forms software by Adobe.

Whether to have requester create SC then purchaser source via SRM Bidding Engine or create Bidding documents directly is entirely depending on your business process and requirement. Either way I feel SRM Bidding Engine is a perfect tool for on premise strategic sourcing. It's intuitive, flexible and function-rich.
