What does "Enter" ME083 error mean when trying to (add a line item and) save a PO?

I am trying to add a line item in a PRISM PO, and I'm getting a hard stop with "Enter" being the issue. When I double click on it I get ME083, but nothing else. I'm at a loss for what I need to "enter". Has anyone else come across this and how doI fix it?
