Hi All

What are the advantages of ECC 6.0 EHP4 with SRM 7.0 ?

I have a requirement to connect R/3 BACKEND 4.6 c to SRM 7.0 - What are the functionality we may miss for procurement in SRM as well as ECC?

Has any one experience with 4.6 c with SRM 7.0 - please share your experience.

Hi,

I think you should run the service and check if XML out was generated or not.

Please to a comprehensive note search if there was some note which was created to correct this.

As a last option, you need to debug the badi. May be the purchasing group and the material group which si configured in the badi is not matching the one in the PR.

Hi,

Some link for new functions.

http://service.sap.com/srm

http://service.sap.com/releasenotes

Please note mainstream maintenance for R/3 4.6C was expired.

http://service.sap.com/~form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=01100035870000632587&_SCENARIO=01100035870000000202&_O...

Software Component Matrix for SAP SRM 7.0 does not have 4.6C because mainstream maintenance was expired.

Hello Muthu,

May be below information helps you

Scenarios need EHP4:

Self service procurement -- Not needed

Plan driven procurement -- If you want to user CPPR cenario to convert the PR directly to RFX then EHP$ is required

Service procurement -- To configure the service hierarchies EHP4 is needed

Strategic sourcing -- To have the service hierarchies in Bidding engine then EHP4 is required

Central Contract Management-- EHP4 is Manadatory for entire scenario.

SUS - if you would like to have the SUS (MM-SUS) with service procurement classic, then EHP4 is needed

Apart fromo the above, many of the ESOA service based document exchange will require EHP4 back end. Also if you would like to have Forward error handling facility, you need to have EHP4.

If your customer doent need any of the above scenarios to be implemented then you can have 4.6c back end.

Thanks
