Hi Friends,
I'm having the following requirements from the client:
In both the approval and rejection emails, weblink (contained on the email) should take the user to the actual document so that
they either approve or reject the PR. In the case of a rejected PR, it brings the user to the document they can modify. If the user is already logged into SRM, the link should bring them straight to the document. If the user is not logged into SRM, the link should bring them to the home page and once they log in, then they should be directed directly to the document they are trying to view.
Please guide,how to proceed.

Hello,
I am not sure if you are on SRM 7.0, but if yes then you can use the class /SAPSRM/CL_URL_SERVICE to generate URL to directly open an object (SC, CTR...).
This method is also called from the offline approval program /SAPSRM/OFFLINEAPPROVALSEND which sends the direct link to documents.

Hi,
Other workaround is when SC is rejected, workitem goes to requester for revise. You can configure workflow this way.

Hi Biswanath,
I am not sure whether any EP (Enterprise Portal) consultant is there in your project or not. However BASIS guys should able to help you out in this regard.
You need to have Single signon functionality enabled for this requirement between Outlook exchange server and EP and SRM.
Once Single signon is enabled then users can directly open the Approval Inbox once they are logged into SAP system / outlook exchange server.
Hope this gives you a brief idea about the requirement and how to proceed with this.
Please let us know in case of any further clarifications.

Teja
