Webdynpro application window closes automatically without loading

I'm trying to test a webynpro application/configuration in the SRM 7 system and I'm wondering what would be the cause for the situation that I'm facing.

There is a webdynpro application /sapsrm/wda_l_fpm_oif and it has so many application configurations for it. I opened the configuration /SAPSRM/WDAC_I_FPM_OIF_BPINVP. It opens up in a new browser and from there, I click on the display button and from the resulting screen, I hit the test button. When I do this, an empty browser window opens but it gets closed in a flash. Is there something that I'm missing here? Any suggestions? There are other applications and configurations that I'm able to open and test and see the screen in the browser, but for most of the SRM applications, I see the same result....

Please provide some insight in this issue....

Hi Jack,

I am experiencing this when trying to access the SRM system from the execute functionality in Solution Documentation.

Were you able to find out the reason the browser opens and then closes immediately?

the WD which you are trying to check is for floor plan manager. so, it cant be tested just like that.

you tell us for what requirement you are trying to accomplish

I want to add an additional tab, which is a custom webdynpro component, to an already existing standard application - for supplier creation page.

I have created this custom component and created a custom application and application configuration with some standard components and my custom component as UIBBs of the application. When I try to test it from the configuration browser, it doesn't work. Even the standard application doesn't appear when I test from the configuration browser.

When you test the WD app directly from SE80, is that working properly?

and more one thing, keep a breakpoint on WDmodifyview when you are launching from configuration and start the test. are you able to stop in the BP?

From where are your trying to open these?

If you wish to test the screen, connect your SRM system to portal and then check the iviews in the portal. I dont think there is a way to check the wedynpro screen of srm in any other way.
