We have an issue with TREX configuration in SRM system

Hi Experts,

When we have executing report "ESH_TEST_SEARCH", we got error like below,

We have checked in Trex admin tool, it is showing like below,

It is showing RFC is not working, but RFC is working fine,

i have checked in Trex also,it is working fine.

Please guide us to solve this issue.

Hi Jana, you can ignore the error message related to the TREXWebServer (HttpServer). The ESH/SRM doesn't need it. If you don't connect the same TREX to any other SAP application (f.e. Enterprise Portal, CRM ISA) I would like to recommend to switch off the TREXWebServer (TREXAdminTool -> Connectivity -> Http) and remove the WebServer from TREXAdminTool -> Tree -> host -> . Other way the TREX writes too freequently error messages in the traces. Regarding your issue with search. We use here HTTP connection between ABAP and IndexServer (not HttpServer). Unfortunately from the attached screenshots it's not clear what could be the reason of the issue. Do you see any error messages in the TrexIndexServer trace? Or maybe events related to the crash of IndexServer in the TrexDaemon trace? What's the Version of TREX? Does the ICM (TREXAdminTool -> Connectivity -> Rfc -> Icm) work ? Best regards, Mikhail
